Mariachi Chihuahuas is dedicated to breeding and raising chihuahuas to the AKC standard with an emphasis on Health, Temperament and Conformation. All three of these elements are equally important when it comes to breeding correct, sound chihuahuas. All of our parents as well as our pups are AKC registered.
We are a small hobby breeder located in the beautiful mountains of central Virginia, between Lynchburg and Charlottesville. We are very careful in planning our litters and are excited about bettering the chihuahuahua breed with each successive litter we plan. We will not have many litters, but the litters we do have will be planned with quality in mind - in order to breed show quality dogs that we can enter into the show ring.

Hi-C Zorro Is Z Man For Mariachi "in Training" with our daughter just before he left for Laurens, SC. He is now with handlers Sandy and Fred Clark of Hi-C Chihuahuas to be shown. He starts his show career in just a few weeks (April 2012). Good Luck, Zorro!! We miss you already.

Ricco's sire is Hi-C Get Up And Boogie at Mariachi - our lovable "Toby", and his dam is Joli's Jungle Sheena For Mariachi, our precious "Sheena". CONGRATULATIONS PAULETTE AND SHERIE!! "Dad" likes to "dance" in the backyard and gives us tasty treats when we listen to his commands. The picture below is "Dad" dancing with my brother Harry. Harry is a good boy, but I am much better at posing for pictures!
